It was good - a handful of floor maps concealing at least one clever twist. I liked it enough to head out and purchase the other two volumes. <br /><br />Am I right in inferring that you thought 'Murder among the Angells' was stronger than 'In the First Degree'? Also, does 'In the First Degree' contain spoilers for the previous novels? I gather from reviews that 'Cat's Paw' and 'Murder among the Angells' are meant to be the best of Scarlett's works - and as such I'm tempted to read 'In the First Degree' first...
